Rain & Horse Shows Don't Mix

Here are more pictures from the horse show.  They had to move all hunter classes to one ring and cancelled the jumper ring due to the flooding.

The facility is huge and normally drains well so I don't know what the deal was other than we got TONS of rain.  This is the same facility where HITS Ocala is held.

I will try to show again this weekend.  I have a work function Friday night so I will have to leave really really early Saturday morning so I can get there in time to show Saturday and then the classic on Sunday.  Weather looks great for this weekend with highs in the low 80s.  I STILL have not clipped Poppy so the poor girl is going to be so hot.  Horse shows around the holidays should not be allowed, just not enough time!

Lastly I thought I would share a picture of my spoiled rotten hound dog Puff.  She wants to come to the horse shows with me so bad that when my husband left my truck door open for a second she jumped in and refused to come out.  He left her in there for a couple hours while he worked on my truck and every time we tried to get her out she would jump to a different seat!  Silly dogs...
