I would be better suited as the Jumper Princess first off. Well, Poppy would probably be the princess more than me. For this week's blog hop,
what is your dream division?
Easy. High Junior Amateur Jumpers. I have always wanted to be able to complete in the Welcome Classics. I felt maybe that was more reasonable than the Grand Prixs and as I get older I get less gutsy. I finally purchased a prospect that shows the talent that could possibly take us there. We currently complete in the 1.10/1.15m. Next up will be 1.20/1.25m so 1.30/1.35m doesn't seem too far off (maybe).

So I guess now that I have it in writing it makes it real. I haven't talked to my trainer about moving up yet. She has hinted about it but I think is waiting for me to say I am ready. Hmmm maybe by December...
Based off of those pictures, the 1.3m doesn't seem unreasonable at all! Glad to find your blog through the blog hop :) Your horse is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteShe looks great! I hope you realize I'm living vicariously through you. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! You'll be trucking along in the jumper ring soon enough with Lex! 2 years ago this mare was doing cross rail, no lead changes, didn't know how to bend or steer. And when she didn't want to work she would rear or buck. My trainers told me not to buy her. I'm so glad I didn't listen :)
DeleteGutsier then me, that's for sure. :) Love greys.
ReplyDeleteHaha, well we will see if this comes into fruition :)
DeleteGreys are beautiful until you own one. Boy are they hard to keep clean. Plus night time turn out only, they are prone to melanoma :/
You guys look awesome!! glad I found you through the hop so I can follow ya!
